More Than a Photographer: A Certified Doula and Compassionate Presence
My approach is built on a foundation of deep understanding and unique expertise. Before dedicating myself fully to photography, I spent years immersed in healthcare—including becoming a Certified Doula and working in roles like Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Technician.
This background is my superpower. It means I bring more than just a camera to your session; I bring a calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate presence. I understand the physical and emotional landscape of birth and postpartum, allowing me to anticipate needs, remain unobtrusive, and ensure you feel completely safe and supported during our most intimate sessions. I am also fully certified in CPR and bloodborne pathogens.

A proud Washington native, I met my husband in a corporate portrait studio back in 2011, and we are now raising our four children here. My own experience with motherhood fuels my passion to give you timeless images that not only show what happened but, more importantly, how it felt.
